It’s not easy for a photographer to take photos of the city where he lives. Every street and every places of your city is no more special if you see it every day, and your “photographic eye” doesn’t see a very new image, especially in a very photographed city like Rome. I looked for different images, starting in the most photographed places of the city – the most famous – or in the simple streets of our day life – the less interesting. The city that you just see, the “Visible City”, became something very different from the one you thought to know. I found a new city

Non è facile per un fotografo fotografare la città in cui vive. Ogni strada e ogni singolo posto della propria città non è più speciale se lo vedi ogni giorno, e il proprio "occhio fotografico" non riesce più a vedere immagini nuove, soprattutto in una città tanto fotografata come Roma. Ho cercato allora immagini diverse, partendo dai luoghi più fotografati della città - i più noti e famosi - sino agli scorci e alle strade della nostra vita quotidiana - la meno interessante. La città che ho trovato, la "Città Visibile", è diventata qualcosa di molto diverso da quello che conoscevo. Ho trovato una città nuova.
